Tease and denial or edging is a form of orgasm control in which the Top repeatedly brings the bottom to the edge of orgasm and then slows down or stops without allowing the bottom release.  This is commonly used within a scene, but for those who engage in long-term denial, it can also be done regularly simply to heighten the ongoing sexual frustration of the bottom.
