A fetish is a sexual activity a person feels is a requirement for their sexual satisfaction. These activities are generally things outside of what are considered “normal” (penetration, clitoral stimulation, penile stimulation, etc).
The difference between a fetish and a kink is that while someone might enjoy a kink, they don’t need it. Sexual satisfaction is significantly diminished, if not altogether impossible, when a fetish is not part of the activities.
